In 2020, Gourmage celebrates 11 years in historic downtown New Braunfels.
As the only cheese shop between South Austin and the Border, we keep our friends happy with a variety of cheese, chocolate, wine, gourmet goods and special events.

Parking Lot or Inside Pick-Up Available
Hello everyone!
Just a reminder about what we're up to over here.
We are open Wednesday and Thursday Noon to 6, and
Friday and Saturday, Noon to 7:00.
If you're coming inside, a mask is required. If you prefer us to provide a parking-lot pick-up for you, just call us with your order and we're happy to bring it to the car when you arrive at our back parking lot.
We are open for inside table service. You now can come by and enjoy a glass of wine and a cheeseboard if you'd like.
Classes are back! You can reserve your spot here in the Shop Online section. We'll be adding lots more classes in the next few weeks, so check back often.

Gourmet Cheese
Here at Gourmage, we carry a variety of cheeses from around the world, including some made here in the U.S., and some right here in Texas!
Handmade Chocolates and Sweets
Our chocolates are handmade, preservative-free and beautiful! We make our own marshmallows in-house, as well as Pate de Fruit, a French fruit gel candy.
Our sweet treats make a great gift!
Wines from Around the World
You can come into Gourmage and buy a bottle of wine to take home... or treat yourself to glass of wine and a cheeseboard and sit and watch the world go by!
Artisan Cheese Platters
Our gourmet cheese platters are becoming quite well known around town. No two are alike, but all are tasteful in every sense of the word; because they've become so popular, our customers generally want us to prepare the platters as "cheesemonger's choice" which means we choose the cheeses on the platter. That said, we're always happy to create a custom platter for you if you have a special request. Our prices here are based on "cheesemonger's choice."
Small: $55 Serves 5-8
Includes three cheeses, and other accompaniments (French baguette, fruit, nuts, etc.)
Add charcuterie (salami and prosciutto) +$10
Medium: $75 Serves 9-11
Includes five cheeses, and other accompaniments (French baguette, fruit, nuts, etc.)
Add charcuterie (salami and prosciutto) +$13
Large: $105 Serves 12-15
Includes five cheeses and other accompaniments (French baguette, fruit, nuts, etc.)
Add charcuterie (salami and prosciutto) +$17
Other options (call us at 830-214-6471 to add the following):
Chocolate truffles ($3.25 each)
Stuffed Peppadew sweet peppers ($6 per 1/4 lb.)
We require at least a 24-hour notice, although the earlier the better.
Any order taken within 24-hours will have a rush charge of $10 added to the final total.

Mozzarella-Making Class at Gourmage
The first Saturday of every month, from 11-Noon
Join us and learn how to make fresh mozzarella! Each participant makes 1-1/4 pounds of mozzarella, from curd. Class is $28 per person, and includes curd, instruction, and take-home containers. Looking for something fun to do with your friends? Let us teach you how to build a beautiful and tasty cheeseboard! Each class member will make their own small cheese board to take home; includes 3 cheeses (1/4 lb. of each) and accompaniments. We'll walk you through shapes, sizes, placement, and general design. Each board will serve 5-7 people, so you'll have some tasty treats for the weekend. The January class is timed perfectly for the big football game, and the April class is Easter weekend.

Our Latitude 46 Wine Club members are invited to visit Gourmage and pick up their wine from the Quarter, and enjoy gourmet cheese treats, wine sampling, wine education, and other in-store specials.

Why the name Latitude 46?
It's because this is the latitude around which most of the world's best wine grapes are grown!
And what is the club? Latitude 46 is a quarterly wine club with great wine offerings and lots of fun perks. Our members tell us what they enjoy most is that because we're not a winery, we can offer wines from anywhere in the world. Also, that the wines we offer are not readily available at retail. In addition, our members can choose two reds, two whites, or one of each; and can change their option anytime.
Our wines are not shipped to our members, rather we offer a fun Pick-up Party, held the Sunday after the Quarter begins (e.g. the October 1, 2020 Quarter means a Sunday, October 4 Pick-up Party.) At each party, Gourmage offers cheese pairings with special pricing, third-bottle options, gourmet snacks, wine sampling, wine education and more. Members can also bring one free guest, with a nominal fee for additional guests (waived if they join the club!).
Throughout the year, our members enjoy a 10% discount on all wine purchases.
